Watershed Session VI, August 14 - 26, Actions + Material: Summer Zickefoose Invites Artists
A shared interest in ceramics and performance brings this disparate group of artists together to foster dialogue and develop support theory surrounding the use of performance in conjunction with a traditional craft medium. This residency will explore ideas surrounding the artists’ focus on performative work incorporating the body, reliant on audience participation, reciprocal actions, and collaborative events. Many of the artists included are active in writing, curating, and criticism.
